i like it
i had this installed on a 98 chevy k3500 with the 7.4L engine. cab and chassis truck with a flatbed. at first i had the shop put a turn down after the muffler, that was way too loud. i had them install the factory tailpipe and am much happier with a full tailpipe. there is a rumble/growl but not too loud. i really like the sound.

Great sound when you want it, silence when you don't.
These mufflers are great for performance street applications when you want a nice aggressive sound when you're on the gas, and stealth mode when you're off it. No drone while cruising either.

8000 Truck/RV Muffler Series
Purchased this for my wife's Armada, to replace the rusted out stock exhaust. This exhaust is perfect if you want a little rumble that's not going to annoy your significant other, or your kids who are riding in the back seats. Sounds great, doesn't really bark until your really hammering down the throttle. Definitely recommend and will be putting this exact model on my K1500 Suburban.

Great Quality
Muffler arrived in good shape packaged well. Produced exactly as ordered. Installed by a custom exhaust technician with new matching piping. The sound is perfect for my tow vehicle application and I feel as though the power delivery is improved. This muffler is much more quiet than I expected, but I’ve decided that’s a good thing. Would highly recommend for RV or towing truck application.

Great Muffler!
I have used a few different series over the years, and I just put this one on a 408 LS Silverado with a large turbo and the tone is perfect.

8000 series muffler
Quick delivery and the muffler's build quality is as good as I remember. I had a pair on my truck 20 years ago and loved them. This 8000 series is the perfect replacement for the 40 series F.... that was previously on my 04 Tahoe. It now has a low smooth rumble at idle and during normal driving, and awakens like a beast under hard acceleration.

as ordered & great sound with no drone not to loud excellent quality
only problem was they shipped UPS & thy always ad some charge of some kind in my case $ 82.00 when shipping to Canada don't ever use UPS

8000 mufflers
I love spin tech products and they've done a stellar job as usual. I only dropped one star because this muffler doesn't have an option for a narrower case to fit certain passenger cars or pick ups which makes them a little tricky to neatly install. However, the 8000 series has absolutely become another favorite for me because of the lush, rich, sound they provide on big blocks with headers and an x-pipe. Top quality products! 8000 rv muffler
I put a new dual 2 1/4"exhaust on a '76 4x4 suburban with a 400 small block using the 8000 rv series. With an x-pipe and a full length system, this rig is so quiet now! I was looking for quiet performance because when friends and family pile in, no one is trying to talk over the noise from the exhaust. My suburban is more responsive and sounds great! Thank you Spin Tech for having various mufflers for everything from my commuter to my race car!
